This industry in Taiwan involves more than 3 million people and over 300 companies, but half of them are stagnant, with revenues near zero. The industry appears vibrant on the surface, but it is actually lifeless because consumer expectations have changed, and most companies have failed to keep pace.

About five or six years ago, I started introducing products and holding health lectures, gradually guiding people to use modern technology to broaden their health horizons. Recently, some people feel that I have changed. Actually, it's not that I have changed, but that I have kept up with the times, while you haven't, so you think I have changed.

When I talk about AI, chips, and gene testing, you might not understand it at first, but you're gradually getting to know it because these are all important tools for us to keep up with the times.

Using blood tests as a starting point for scientific verification

At Total Swiss, we use different tools than other companies. Our products are for human consumption; if I say they work, and others say they work, who proves it? Before, it was all just talk. So, over a decade ago, I chose the most difficult and dangerous path: using blood tests to prove the products' effectiveness. But if the tests showed no effect, then the blood test wasn't a sign of success, but a sign of failure. Our bodies are incredibly intelligent. When blood sugar is high, insulin helps cells utilize glucose and store it as glycogen; when blood sugar is low, insulin breaks down glycogen and releases it. Therefore, low blood sugar isn't always better. Low blood sugar can cause dizziness, night sweats, difficulty concentrating, and in severe cases, even loss of consciousness.

Fluctuations in blood sugar levels are not a cause for concern, but close monitoring of glycated hemoglobin (HbA1c) is crucial. A maximum of 6 out of every 100 red blood cells should be coated with sugar; exceeding this number could be a warning sign of diabetes.

We don't claim our product can cure diabetes, but we believe it might improve blood circulation. With faster blood flow, are certain substances less likely to accumulate? This is precisely the direction we want to investigate.

In the past, I dared to use blood test reports to promise consumers a money-back guarantee if they weren't satisfied. Many people wouldn't dare do that, but I was determined to go all in. Because I had complete confidence in my product, and I had indeed achieved success along the way. Later, many competitors saw how much we attracted people with blood tests and followed suit.

Having gained experience with blood testing, I wanted to combine genetic testing with blood testing to start a new company. Dr. Chen and Dr. Xiong had already been involved in this field for 30 years before collaborating with us. We plan to develop this technology into a subsidiary of Total Swiss and push for an IPO.
